    I went to get gas this morning. I am 58 years old and have been driving for 40 years. Each time there is the option of 87, 89, 93 and sometimes also diesel. I always get 87. The sign on the street said the price is 2.399 but as I started pumping it said 2.699. I thought it was a mistake but it wasn't. So I asked the attendant and he said I pumped "plus". But I neither selected plus nor did I see this. I just moved to Exton and was going to use this station from now on. But in 40 years of driving, this has never happened. I shall never use them again.     The speedway at 1321 Park Ave W Mansfield, OH 44906 just racially profiled my son. The manager's name was Stephanie.   • Water in the Gas



    I bought gas on a Monday night at the speedway a block from my house. Tuesday morning all 6 cylinders started misfiring. I filled the tank that Monday. No other codes were present and all cylinders misfiring is unheard of! I remembered I filled the tank and water in the gas would cause this. I put two cans of dry gas in the tank and the knocking went away a half day later. I asked the Speedway on Taywood and State route 48 to reimburse me for the dry gas, about $20. They refused.     Every time you go into the Dry Ridge Ky Speedway has station by Wendy's there is a line from the register to almost the back of the store. Today same way the manager "Betty" and another employee looking at a computer never looked up to help 20 mins in line just to get gas. I watch numerous customers walk out.   • Won't honor .10 gallon off when credit card is used.



    Speedway through the month of August to September is offering 10 cents off a gallon of gas when you use your credit card. I use my credit card most of the time. The first couple times I used my card it gave me 10 cents off a gallon and then it quit doing it the third use. I called speedway and talked to so many people and they seemed clueless.     about 7 am this morning the manager (tom) refused to sell my 20 year old son a pack of cigarettes. when given his drivers license which appeared to be cut on the edge due to being bent. He tells my son that he can't accept it even tho it is still valid. This man is racist, my 17 year old white neighbor purchased smokes from this manager without ID.     seen a customer at the ky 18 store and merchant ask for change and they made him buy something to get it. He purchased something he didn't want to get the change he needed. We left and filled up our cars at the BP on Mall Road since that location didn't want to help that poor gentleman they don't need our business.     I went to Speedway at 10 mile in Eastpointe tonight with my 9 year old daughter. There were 3 what I would not consider gentlemen behind the counter.     I've lived in this neighborhood for 26 years and am sad to see it changing-not the the better. It doesn't help when the business have trash lying around their lot and the inside is DIRTY.     I stopped at Speedway 09393 in Lexington Kentucky on September 10, 2012 and purchased gas. On January 21, 2013 that station put through a charge for $98 on the same credit card. Three days later a Speedway station in Lousiville, Kentucky attempted to process that same $98 charge which the credit card company denied.     I have been buying my gas from Speedway for years until the station in Kent City went to prepay. I pay with cash. I refuse to go in to pay, Pump your gas and then go back in to get your change.     The Speedway on the corner of Calumet Ave and 169th st. in Hammond, Indiana is very poorly operated. It is not a very large station and there are always pumps with the "classy" plastic bag covering then to alert us that they are out of order. I understand a pump going down but not that many and that often. Also the pumps are old and there is only about two pumps that the receipt machine actually works for several years now and heaven forbid you have to go inside because you will wait at a line that is about 15 people long and one cashier when there is usually two people there....     Went to speedway gas store #7117, in crestwood IL. Brought 1 payday candy bar to register to purchase, attendant said "You can get 2 for $2.00". Great, I did. Register showed $2.00, I pulled out $3.00, to cover for tax, (approx. $.16) when she then quoted $2.72. I said ".72 cents for tax?", she said yeah, I asked for receipt, and she said, "there is none".     I went to store 0005415 to purchase speedway gift cards for fuel or gas. Manager of that store called regional office on 5/17/11 about 4:30 pm who would not allow speedway gift cards to be purchased with a superfleet account. I have purchased many gift cards at this store this year as well as many other locations. My previous purchases always worked. I got speedway gas station alot here in terre haute. Of course to get my gas. I never realized until watching a video on Facebook of the pumps still goin even when you are not pumping. So the last time i got gas i went ahead an tried just whst the man did in the video and come to find out yes it did go ahead an the numbers moved as if i was getting gas when it was never even in my van. It was in my hand. There goes to show you yes the video is true. I will not be going to buy my gas from speedway anylonger. Thank you have a nice day.

The entire right side o my car was scratched by the Speedway carwash on SR 306 in Willoughby, OHIO. I had pictures that the manager took and i took pictures myself. We went inside the carwash and saw an attenau like metal rod sticking out of the front wash roller which lined up perfectly with the scratches in my car. I called the store there today and Brad told me that they fixed the car wash. I asked what the problem was? He answered that there was a metal rod stuck in the roller that should not have been there and that the car wash now is operating. He agreed that the rod stuck in the roller damaged the hood, windshield, roof and trunk lid of my car as the roller pushed the metal rod along the car while passing from front to back and repeating.

I am concerned as i found out today that Speedway is self-insured. I am concerned that they will not honor my damage in light of the news from Brad and the damage picks in their possession. Hearing the other post here on how they denied coverage is alarming to me.

Can Speedway be so ruthless in light of the fact that i saved them from much more damage to other vehicules by asking them to shut down the carwash until they figured out what that rod was doing there and why it damaged my 528I BMW?

I have been going to the same speedway for a very long time and I really value the reward points and use them but I bought $45.00 yesterday and forgot to use my card. What upset me was, I was almost home((10 miles from the station)when I remembered, I just realized that I wasn't given a receipt, which I could have use at the terminal to get my points. I also wasn't asked for the card by the attendent. I am forgetful when I get busy but I have always been asked for my card. I got no receipt and wasn't asked for my card. I can't think of any other time time this has happened. Is there any recourse? If not, O.K. but maybe you should insist on receipts being given to the customers. But I do like this gas station and the people working there.

i wrote a concern and complaint several days ago .i had a marsh coupon for speedway gas station,60 cens off for up to 15 gallons of gas.i old he clerk i wanted to get 15 gallons of gas.i pumped the gas,but it stopped at 4.1 gallons.the clerk set the pump for 15.00 dollars.i went back into the store and told the clerk about the mistake.she said she did not know how to figure the right total,he manager gets paid to handle this mess.so she handed the paperwork to the manager,i ended up paying more for the fifteen gallons and never go my coupon discount..my speedy card was used.speedway store 46224..my name is gary a. isterling i want something done about these charges..i am very upset with this store manager and still wonder why no one has contacted me back...

I have been a loyal customer at our local Speedway in Dowagiac Mich since it opened more than a dozen years ago.I have seen managers an employees come an go , But the manager an the night shift worker they have now should of never been hired to work for the public. In all the years i have been a customer i can count on one hand how many times there was no coffee made . Since they hired a girl named Lea it takes both hands to count the times there was no coffee made in a two week period. The last time i went inn to get coffee she was working an no coffee!!4 times previously i complained to the manager Jason, He assured me it would be taken care of.The next day i went back in the store an told him i would never do bussiness with a speeway store again as long as she was working there . Long story short Speedway has lost a long time customer who spent a lot of money over the yearsdue to the fact she still works there.....Apparently Speedway feels they dont need loyal customers

I used a Speedway car wash and the ENTIRE side of my vehicle was scratched. I contacted Speedway and they refuse to accept liability or even INVESTIGATE the car wash so no one else's car gets scratched. I will NEVER use Speedway again!

I used a Speedway car wash and the ENTIRE side of my vehicle was scratched. I contacted Speedway and they refuse to accept liability or even INVESTIGATE the car wash so no one else's car gets scratched. I will NEVER use Speedway again!

Speedway #4487. I've been going there for years, its had its share of employees, but theres one girl, Erin or E something. Shes your typical pretty young girl working at her first job or maybe its her 5th who knows, but she makes the experience so damn interesting! Even my wife likes to go get stuff with me now. I hope they hire more people like her, everyone else is like a friggin robot

As a customer and employee of Speedway I can honestly understand why some people can get angry or upset at the pump. I understand that hassles like gas receipts and a clean and organized environment make the difference. As well as quality of service. However, please understand that it is not the individual employees of these chain speedways that make the rules and policy's. Moreover, it is the corporate higher ups that decide every single detail of your experience. If you need to rant to someone; then rant to the higher-ups. not the hungry empoyee who doesnt get a break for eight hours and then gets yelled at because gas prices go up! It just doesnt make any sense. Additionally, please note that the paper at the pump can be altered by the weather. Snowy wintery conditions do affect the printing of these reciepts. Also, we dont use any real ink! So please stop telling us we are out of ink and paper when in all reality it could just be a bad printer needing to be replaced. As far as the fruit flies. I wanna say thats gross! I wouldnt go back either. Again Speedway is a nathionwide chain with locations all over the country. Each station has a different experience. Just dont diregard the whole because of the mistakes of the few. All in all, I can agree and diagree with everything said above, but in the end it is your decision whether to fuel up with Speedway of somewhere else.

I have been going to Speedway gas stations since they opene in Brownsburg, IN..Usually a very satisfied customer...I even changed the brand of cigs I smoked because I love your rewards card and I started buying Tourneys Ultra Lights...after buying 10 packs i would get 1000 rewards for my card.....WHY ON EARTH WOULD U STOP THIS????? Now I have to buy 10 packs to get a lousy $1.00 off coupon..I think this is a bad decision and I am VERY disappointed in Speedway...

I work at a speedway .. there prepay thing to me to is not good for business .. We do not get reated fairly .. an The few of us still there have not yet had a lunch break since this time last summer .. an yet you cant eat or snack while at the counter .. when then are we suppose to eat ... we sand there from six to 2 haveing people cuss us as if we have made the rules of pre-pay an other such .. I wish the ky labor ppl would come out to our store ... im putting my two weeks in as soon as i find another job if i stay there i maybe will soon be in depression ...

According to my bank if you pay at the pump with a credit or debit card, speedway will at first charge $1 to make sure your account is good, then a few days later will charge tha actual amount for the gas. This is a bad thing. I ended up paying $105 in overdraft fees because when I checked my balance before I made any purchases my bank said there was more money in my acct than there really was. What a scam !!!! I don't know who to be madder at, speedway or my bank!!! off!!!!

I have a credit card consulting company that is fighting the same issues your company is. maybe we could join forces and I can provide where I am at at this time with my fight. What is happening to business' that take credit cards as a form of payment has gotten out of control. With no regulations, card issuers can do whatever they want, usually at the cost of the business. Please respond to discuss further.

I would like to respond to the woman who says she could not cash the money order she bought at speedway. I am a store manager in the midwest working for Speedway. I do not understand why the store did not cash the money order. Company policy allows for cashing money orders that your store has sold. You just have to go to the store you purchased it from. And spoiled milk etc no being taken back, come on are you serious? Speedway does not sell spoiled products intentionally just like any other retailer. If it did happen take it back to the store and I'm sure the manager will take care of it. All of my employees are empowered to handle most every situation without me. I'm sad to hear of your bad experience with SSA. It really is a great company.

Speedway service stations need to advertise that the money orders you purchase there are as good as toilet paper.My son purchased a money order from the speedway in Lombard on North Ave today and his girlfriend cannot cash it anywhere. No one will cash it .... not even the speedway it was purchased from !!!! That says alot for your company doesn't it !!!Don't even honor your own goods !!!The money order was for child support and the girlfriend needed milk and diapers but thanks to your questionable business reputation the kids are s--t out of luck I guess. This reflects on any of your services and I will be telling everyone I can about your not backing your own products so beware of purchases made there. If you buy milk,food,anything from speedway and it is sour or spoiled or damaged you can consider yourself screwed as far as speedway is concerned ! By the way, I work at the county court building and see alot of people daily .

I not buy anything from Speedway. They are the first to raise the price and the last to come down. Right now the national average is 2.505 and Speedway just raised their price to 2.859 from 2.759. I would walk 20 miles to buy gas someplace else.

I love speedway's points program. I never check the prices because I always "win" because of the ability to get free gas cards when I reach a certain nbr of points.

I would like to know why 9667 never has receipt paper at the pump.If I am going to pay at the pump I do not want to go inside and stand in line for a receipt.I ask why the pump did not have paper. The cashier said it did not work. So I ask why they did not call someone to fix it. She said they did but no one came to fix it. The other Speedways do not have this problem.

I have been using speedyway gas regular for 29 months. I am in the same store every day at least once. I drive a van with my name and phone # on it in 12 inch letters. I do have to fill up sometimes at night. They want to play the prepay game with me. I am usually in a hurry. I am no more a thief in the evening than I am in the morning. With my name on the truck any fool knows that it won't be driving off. 580 stops at the Mt. sterling KY store they have to know me. I want you folk to stick your gas nozzles up you ass. I will make for sure not to bother you for your product again.

I would like to know why price per gallon of gas rose 30 cents in one day from $1.69 to $1.99 on 2/10/09, here in Macedonia, Ohio, when oils prices remain low under $40 per barrel and gasoline deman is low due to recession. I would love to know what reason Speedway, or any other gasoline retailer, would give.
